My sister was in a production of Turandot...It was the first opera I had ever seen, and it was just amazing, because I never knew that this song came from that Opera!!

@nToTec, es que esto no es 'en medio de un acto cualquiera'. Aqui se aplaude el aria de Calaf no solo por ser heroica, o porque se cante con un gran énfasis o 'superbien'. Mas bien, es algo parecido a cuando en el cine veiamos aquellas pelis de vaqueros y despues de estar los indios 'machacando' el fuerte a flechazos, entonces acude el trompetero 7 de caballeria a toda pastilla y el publico al unisono aplaude a rabiar y hasta los caballos se animan y corren mas,....algo asi tio, algo asi tio!

Brilliant! A 5th rate conductor, laughed at by his orchestra members. A total liability in the pit. Longevity is always easier when you're mediocre. It counts for nothing. He is NOT a baritone. Not in any form or fashion. He's done more to make opera irrelevant then any singer in history. A tenor with no top and nothing to say as an artist. Consider yourself duped.
